Something that is average, mediocre, or underwhelming. Not bad, but definitely not impressive.
“That new Marvel movie was mid tbh.”
The ultimate insult for anything that fails to impress. Worse than being called bad because at least bad is memorable.
“His fit? Mid. His personality? Also mid.”
Short for "middle of the road" - neither good nor bad, just painfully average.
“The food here is mid, let's go somewhere else.”
